Cecilia Veritas Jennings died May 15, 2005, at her home in Flushing, NY.  She was born September 29, 1947, in Wake County to the late Cecil Leroy Jennings and Veritas Williams Jennings.  She was a graduate of Enloe High School and earned her Master's degree in art from Columbia University in New York City.

She is survived by an uncle, Marshall R. Williams of Wilmington; aunts Sue Williams of Wendell and Helen Williams of Atlanta, GA; and numerous cousins.
