Daniel Michael "Mike" Byers passed away on September 26, 2010, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center in South Carolina.  Born in Gaffney, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Daniel B. Byers and Doris Parker Keever.  He was a graduate of Enloe High School, attended Limestone College, and retired from Auto Zone.  Mr. Byers was a U.S. Army veteran and of the Baptist faith.  Surviving is a son, Tony Byers, of Gaffney, SC; two daughters, Julie Manning of Spartanburg and Melissa Harris and husband Carl of Blacksburg; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild.
